We created a 70's Sci-Fi inspired NFT Collection that Sold Out for USD $1.5 Million
I was one of the founding members of the company. We started with a small team of 3 and apart from my strategic duties as the Creative Director, I was responsible for creating everything visual, from the NFT art itself to the web design, branding and marketing videos and assets — essentially operating as a single person agency.
We worked intensively for 6 months and in 2022 launched our NFT Collection with 7777 individual pieces that collectively sold for USD $ 1.5 - and were briefly the top trending NFT collection in the world. We were also nominated for the AIXR VR Company of the year award.

Developing the Art Style
Finding the right art style was crucial to our success. At the cusp of the NFT boom, the market was heavily saturated and demanded something extraordinary to cut through the noise. We knew that our collection had to have intrinsic artistic value to be successful. After research and visual experiments, I developed a style inspired by 70's Sci-FI illustrations and retro-futurism, with detailed line-work and heavily textured vintage patina. This style eventually expanded into our own intergalactic world.

Marketing
Our marketing relied on three core pillars:
1. Visual Appeal: Creating visually striking content and videos that showcased our NFT Art and the universe we built around it.
2. User Generated Content: We created opportunities for UGC by making AR Filters for social media alongside art and merchandise competitions.
3. In Person Events and Exhibitions: We hosted in person Virtual Reality Film exhibitions and events in Istanbul that generated a significant amount of buzz and were covered by Turkish media channels and publications.

VR Future today runs the worlds 2nd Largest Immersive VR Space called Muzeverse, based in Istanbul.
